The biggest challenge in analyzing the Calgary Flames’ cast of wingers is trying to sort out who will play which side.
With only a handful of right-handers on the roster, the Flames will once again need some lefties to work on the off-wing.
Likewise, a bunch of natural centres will be auditioning on the flanks.
And a guy like Joe Colborne can probably expect to skate at every position at some point this season.
That’s part of the fun of trying to project the Flames opening-night NHL lineup — some guys are candidates for duty at multiple spots.
