The Calgary Hitmen have seen enough of Sam Steel and the Regina Pats for quite some time.
Steel scored twice and had two assists to lead the top-ranked team in the Canadian Hockey League to a 4-0 win over the Hitmen.
“It’s awesome to play in a rink like this, especially when you show up ready to play and play a full 60 minutes,” said Steel, who also had two goals and two helpers on Jan. 27 at the Saddledome during a 6-5 overtime win for the Pats. “I didn’t like (playing at the Saddledome) my first couple years in the league.
