Yes, I used quotation marks because, as opposed to popular opinion, I didn't think Sam was in a slump. Yes, it had been 18 games since he earned a point in the game against the San Jose Sharks, but that doesn't mean he wasn't making an impact. Bennett has always played a hard-hitting, effective game no matter what line he may play on.
