The Scotiabank Saddledome will soon be back at its full capacity of 19,289.
The Alberta provincial government confirmed on Saturday morning that the province will ease COVID-19 restrictions beginning on Mar. 1, which will include removal of capacity restrictions and most indoor masking requirements.
The Saddledome has been limited to half capacity since the province introduced restrictions in December to combat the omicron variant of COVID-19, though the Flames didn’t host any games until Jan. 13 due to the NHL rescheduling games.
On March 3, the Calgary Flames will be the first Canadian NHL team to return to hosting full capacity games without any vaccination or masking requirements.
