Buffalo Sabres forward Ryan O'Reilly has been charged with impaired driving after allegedly driving his vintage Chevrolet pickup into a Tim Hortons last week, according to Ontario Provincial Police.
O'Reilly, 24, was charged with driving a motor vehicle with a blood-alcohol level higher than the legal limit of 80 mgs, reported AM 980, a radio station in London, Ont.
The incident occurred last Thursday morning around 4 a.m. in Lucan, a small town about 25 kilometres northwest of London.
AM 980 also reported O'Reilly was charged with failing to remain at the scene and will have his first court appearance on Aug.
