Roberts earns first win of season in 3-1 victory over Huskies

The University of Calgary Dinos women's hockey squad bounced back from a 5-1 loss to split their weekend series with a 3-1 win Saturday over the visiting University of Saskatchewan Huskies.

Calgary captain Megan Grenon opened the scoring on the power play before Sara Craven stole the show with back-to-back goals for the eventual game-winner and some insurance, while Kelsey Roberts made 29 saves in her first start of 2017 in the winning effort.

"Obviously it's a big weight off our shoulders, and not having a win and playing as many games as I have, it's been pretty disappointing," Roberts told Canadawest.
