Coming off their annual development camp, the Calgary Flames have reportedly added to their organizational depth. According to a report from Sportsnet’s Eric Francis, the Flames have signed forwards Jeremy McKenna and Alex Gallant to American Hockey League deals for the 2019-20 season.
To clarify, like Alex Gallant, Jeremy McKenna’s contract is indeed an AHL deal, not a two-way.

McKenna, 20, has a pretty fascinating story. Born in Canmore, his family eventually moved to Prince Edward Island and he made the jump to the QMJHL after a stint playing in Austria (where he was teammates with Martin Pospisil).
