Red Deer Rebels attack early and often in Game 3 win over Brandon Wheat Kings

A six pack can result in a headache.

The six-pack the Red Deer Rebels found on Tuesday night certainly left the Brandon Wheat Kings feeling a bit wobbly.

The Rebels got goals from a half-dozen different lamp lighters to beat the Wheaties 6-2 in a crucial Game 3 victory at the Centrium.

Haydn Fleury and Braden Purtill scored goals seven seconds apart in the opening period while Austin Strand, Evan Polei, Jeff de Wit and Michael Spacek also dented the twine as the hosts earned their first victory of the Eastern Conference final.

Adam Helewka, who is usually busy filling the net, elected to be the playmaker, setting up a trio of goals.
