A grand jury is expected to reconvene soon in the investigation involving rape allegations against Chicago Blackhawks star Patrick Kane.
The Erie County district attorney's office in Buffalo, N.Y., postponed grand jury proceedings on Tuesday, a move that reportedly was related to a possible settlement between the alleged victim and Kane's attorneys.
Kane's attorney, Paul Cambria, told the Chicago Tribune on Thursday that he did not know why prosecutors cancelled the grand jury presentation but that the move did not come at his request.
"We were informed that it (the grand jury) was rescheduled," Cambria said.
