PITTSBURGH - For many NHL players, the all-star break provided an opportunity to rest their battered and bruised bodies.
For Ottawa Senators right winger Mark Stone, spending a few days at Mont Tremblant was about shutting down his brain; to stop thinking about all the things he wasn’t doing right.
“I think I just needed to get my head away, more than my body,” Stone said following Monday evening’s practice here, in preparation for Tuesday’s game against the revived Pittsburgh Penguins.
“I’ve been kind of struggling a little bit. Any time you can get away from it all and regroup, it is nice.
