SUNRISE, FLA. - The changes continued for the Senators Saturday.
Defenceman Eric Gryba was dealt to the Edmonton Oilers in exchange for the No. 107 pick and prospect Travis Elwanyk, who played on the club’s farm team last season.
The Senators were determined to get a defenceman off the books and there had been interest in Gryba as part of the deal to send goaltender Robin Lehner to the Oilers but he ended up in Buffalo.
With eight blueliners, the Senators wanted to make a move and were successful.
