The southern Alberta-based Alberta Junior Hockey League club is going in a different direction after last year’s disappointing exit from the playoffs, courtesy of a semifinal sweep at the hands of the Brook Bandits.
Even though the team has been one of the stronger squads in the league in recent years, it hasn’t led to the championship the club or management have been looking for.
With only seven returning players from last year, head coach James Poole says it’s time to do something to reverse the early playoff exits.
