But it was Craig MacTavish getting hauled out the doors by the bouncers in this not-so-farfetched nightclub scenario, as Chiarelli was also named the new GM of the Oilers on Friday.
Lowe and MacTavish won't be going far, though.
“Craig MacTavish is still with the organization,” Oilers Entertainment Group CEO Bob Nicholson said during a press conference at the Hotel Macdonald.
