The Ottawa Senators have every right to believe in miracles.
They pulled one off making the playoffs last season.
After making a historic 23-4-4 run in the final two months of the season led by an incredible effort by Andrew (The Hamburglar) Hammond in net, the Senators got into the post-season on the final day of the year before losing in Round 1 to the Montreal Canadiens in Game 6 at the Canadian Tire Centre.
So what do you do for an encore?
Well, the expectations have certainly changed among their faithful as the Senators prepare to begin the season with a two-game road trip against the Buffalo Sabres and Toronto Maple Leafs before facing the Canadiens in a rematch in the home opener.
