NHL.com: The Anaheim Ducks have signed forward Adam Henrique to a five-year contract extension ($5.85 million salary cap hit) that will kick in after the start of next season.
After being acquired from the New Jersey Devils with Joseph Blandisi and a 3rd round pick for Sami Vatanen and a conditional pick, Henrique recorded 20 goals and 16 assists in 57 games.
“I felt like I had been there for years with some of those guys,” Henrique said in a statement released by the Ducks. “It’s one of the reasons I wanted to stay.
