Michael Frolik’s got nothing on Jackson Houck.
Frolik scored with 8.7 seconds left on Saturday night to give the Calgary Flames an improbable win in Edmonton.
Houck proved he has an even bigger flair for the dramatic.
The newcomer sniped the winner with just 3.3 ticks remaining on the clock to give the Calgary Hitmen a shocking, come-from-behind 4-3 victory over the Seattle Thunderbirds at the Dome Sunday night.
“I looked up and there was six seconds left,” Houck said. “Carsen (Twarynski) went aggressive and made a great play (to centre the puck).
“When he threw it out, I thought, ‘I have to shoot this as quick as I can.
