Cody Porter is probably wondering if he can veto a trade.
The Calgary Hitmen goaltender, who joined the team Tuesday as part of a five-player blockbuster deal with the Vancouver Giants, didn't receive much support in his debut with his new club.
But the North Vancouver product chose to blame Thursday's 6-3 loss to the Spokane Chiefs at the Saddledome more on inactivity than his teammates' shortcomings.
"It was my first game in three weeks and a bit," Porter said of a lengthy layoff with the G-Men. "So I was a little rusty out there.
"It was one of those games where they got the bounces.
