Calgary Flames forward, Mikael Backlund, released a message to Flames fans from his home on Wednesday afternoon via his Instagram account, and preached the importance of social distancing and how we all need to watch out for each other during the trying times caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Hey, Flames fans. I miss you guys. I miss playing in front of you and I hope you’re all staying safe. Make sure you wash your hands thoroughly for 20 seconds or longer often and every day. Practice social distancing, and, if possible, work from home.
