After weeks of uncertainty, wheeling, dealing and finally a flurry of roster moves over the last few days, the Calgary Flames have officially set their roster to begin the 2016-17 National Hockey League season.
The Flames roster features the standard 23 players - 2 goalies, 8 defensemen and 13 forwards - and carries a cap hit of roughly $72,991,732 (including buyouts, buried contracts and existing cap penalties), just ekeing under the cap by $8,268.
