As the North American sporting calendar remains murky for the remainder of 2020, the Calgary Flames have made a move regarding one of their European-based players. Prospect Martin Pospisil has been loaned to HC Kosice of the Slovak Tipsport Liga.
HC Kosice announced the loan on Facebook on Thursday morning.
Pospisil, 20, is entering the second year of his entry level contract with the Flames. He spent the 2019-20 season with the American Hockey League’s Stockton Heat. He played just 26 games and had three goals and 10 points as a rookie. His season was derailed by getting knocked out by the late Colby Cave in a fight early on Oct.
