Mitch Marner leads a group of 41 players who will try to make a solid impression at Canada’s summer development camp for the 2017 world junior championship.
Hockey Canada on Monday announced the roster for the camp, which takes place July 30-Aug. 6. The team will practise in Toronto until Aug. 2, when it will head to Plymouth, Mich., to face off against Finland, Sweden and the United States in a trio of exhibition games.
Marner is one of nine players who were on the Canadian team that finished sixth in the world junior last winter in Helsinki and received invitations to the camp.
