OTTAWA - Mark Stone is back and the Ottawa Senators can only hope history repeats itself.
Stone scored twice and added an assist in the Senators 5-1 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning Monday, continuing a hot streak which has now seen him score five goals and three assists in four games in February.
Do the Senators even dare that the Stone of today can come close to the Stone who closed out the 2014-15 season?
A year ago, Stone exploded offensively through February, March and April, piling up 14 goals and 22 assists in the Senators final 34 games, helping lead the Senators torrid stretch to a playoff spot.
