The Toronto Maple Leafs have signed forward Nazem Kadri to a one-year contract extension, the team announced Sunday.
One report said the deal was for $4.1 million
According to a press release, the 24-year-old finished fourth among Leaf skaters in scoring last season with 39 points (18 goals, 21 assists) in 73 regular season games.
A native of London, Ont., Kadri was originally drafted by the Leafs in the first round (7th overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
