The Winnipeg Jets have inked forwards Adam Lowry and Joel Armia to new contracts.
The team announced Thursday that Lowry has signed a two-year, $2.25-million deal that will see him paid an average of $1.125 million per year. The 23-year-old centre had seven goals and 10 assists in 74 games last season.
Armia, meanwhile, has agreed to a $1.85-million deal that will see him paid an average of $925,000 for the next two years. The 23-year-old, acquired as part of the 2015 deal that sent Evander Kane to Buffalo, was a mid-season call-up for the Jets last season, scoring four goals and six assists in 43 games.
