Make no mistake, Brian McGrattan arguably remains the sports heavyweight champ and is tough enough to strike fear in all kinds of hockey players.
But mention McGrattan’s three-month-old son Gabriel, and the NHLer nicknamed Big Ern turns into the worlds largest marshmallow.
“For sure,” McGrattan said as he talked on the phone while his son was asleep at his side in their Calgary home.
“It’s awesome. It’s a lot of fun. He’s getting to a really fun stage, starting to recognize us and our voices and starting to grab toys and play with them. It’s funny.
