NEW YORK - If Tampa Bay Lightning captain Steven Stamkos delivered a pre-game speech to his teammates before Game 5, it was likely along the same lines as the thoughts he shared with the media after the morning skate.
To be successful in the Eastern Conference final, Stamkos believes it’s important to live in the moment.
"You kind of have to realize where you are and use that a little as motivation," said Stamkos. "I think the harsh reality is some guys in this room may never get a chance to get this far again. Hopefully everyone does, but you never know in this sport.
