Friends, we’re about a year out from the 2021 NHL Expansion Draft. In about a year, the Seattle Grinders (or Kraken or Whatevers) will join the league and grab a player from each of the first 30 clubs involved. (Vegas is exempt.)
How prepared are the Calgary Flames for expansion?
To be eligible for selection or exposure, players need to have completed three pro seasons under an NHL contract prior to the expansion draft.

Exposure Requirement: One goaltender who is under contract in 2021-22 or will be a restricted free agent at the expiration of his current contract immediately prior to 2021-22.
