Josh Jooris has been a feel-good story for the Calgary Flames this season

On April 25, 2014, Josh Jooris was a healthy scratch for a post-season contest ... in the American Hockey League.

Exactly one year later, on Saturday night at the Saddledome, the 24-year-old speedster suited up for his sixth-straight outing in the NHL’s Stanley Cup playoffs.

That essentially sums up the unexpected ascent of Jooris, the best of several feel-good stories on the Calgary Flames’ roster this spring.
