Exactly one year later, on Saturday night at the Saddledome, the 24-year-old speedster suited up for his sixth-straight outing in the NHL’s Stanley Cup playoffs.
That essentially sums up the unexpected ascent of Jooris, the best of several feel-good stories on the Calgary Flames’ roster this spring.
“I remember we had a conversation at the end of last year and Josh was like, ‘Hey, I know what it’s going to take now,’ ” recalled Flames assistant GM Craig Conroy, the official overseer of Calgary’s affiliate in Abbotsford, B.
