The New York Rangers agreed to terms with free agent forward Jarret Stoll on Monday.
Stoll, 33, was charged in June with one count of possession of a controlled substance stemming from an April incident in Las Vegas. The felony cocaine charge filed against Stoll was dismissed in a plea deal with prosecutors. He pleaded guilty to two reduced misdemeanor charges to resolve the case.
The 6-foot-1, 215-pound Stoll has played in the Stanley Cup Final in three different seasons during his career and he captured the Stanley Cup twice as a member of the Los Angeles Kings (2011-12 and 2013-14).
