Josh Ho-Sang didn’t even get the chance to get his feet wet at the New York Islanders training camp.
But the 19-year-old from Toronto has nobody to blame but himself.
Ho-Sang, the Islanders’ first-round draft pick in 2014, reportedly showed up late for the first day of camp Friday and was promptly sent back to his junior team, the Niagara IceDogs, according to Newsday.
It was the latest odd incident for the highly-skilled but controversial forward, who described himself to the Toronto Sun as “more emotional than most people. That poses a problem for the hockey world.
