Sitting in a lounger with a pipe in his mouth and slippers on his feet isn’t in the cards just yet for Karri Ramo.
But the Calgary Flames goalie obviously likes his comfort factor.
Ramo admitted familiarity is a reason he re-signed with the Flames this summer just before he could have become an unrestricted free-agent.
“I don’t know why to not sign here again,” said Ramo, who inked a one-year, US$3.8-million contract with the club on July 1, his birthday, while vacationing in Croatia with his wife, Victoria. “When you get a certain age, it’s not fun to change things around anymore without a good reason.
