The Calgary Inferno rolled into Brampton, Ontario to take on the Brampton Thunder this past weekend, looking to continue their already impressive hot streak to start the season. When all was said and done, the Inferno came away from Brampton with a win and a loss.
On Saturday, the Inferno fell behind early in the game with the Thunder scoring the opener just 1:15 into the 1st period and then striking again at 4:18 of the opening frame for an early 2-0 lead. The Inferno got on the board at 3:10 of the 2nd period with Blayre Turnbull scoring her 1st goal of the season with assists going to Bailey Bram and Sarah Davis to cut the deficit to 2-1.
