Calgary Flames 6 - Vancouver Canucks 5 (OT)
Who would have thought that when Josh Leivo deposited the first marker of the night that there would be 10 more goals to follow? Well that’s exactly what happened after the Flames held a 1-0 lead, a 5-1 lead and needed overtime to defeat the Canucks.
Leivo would hop on a loose puck and skate in all by his lonesome and bury a backhander past Braden Holtby to stake the Flames to a one goal lead. This has been an up and down season for Leivo as he spent significant time away from the Flames due to Covid-19, but it was great to see him score a goal after missing that much time.
