Members of a British hockey team urged a missing Aurora man to keep his head up and implored their former teammate to try to let someone know he’s alright.
In a video posted to YouTube, several players from the Blackburn Hawks — a semi-pro team based in Lancashire county and part of the English Ice Hockey Association — speak directly to Jonathan Adams, 26, who hasn’t been seen or heard from since June 28.
According to defenceman Ollie Lomax, Adams was a well-liked Canadian import to the team who played forward from November 2013 to the end of 2014, when he returned to Canada with hopes of either continuing to play or to coach.
