The Calgary Hitmen played three home games over the past week, hoping to make up ground in the divisional playoff race. Unfortunately, some inconsistent play at key times crept up on them and saw them drop two close games and win just once during the week.
The week that was
Saturday was Bret “The Hitmen” Hart Night at the Saddledome as the Hitmen hosted the Saskatoon Blades. While it wasn’t quite as one-sided as Saskatoon’s last visit – they scored nine goals in that one – but the Hitmen never had a lead in this one, trailing 1-0, 2-1 and 3-2.
