The Calgary Hitmen had a busy week, playing four games. They also had a relatively unproductive week, losing three of four. But they’re playoff bound, so the consequences of a losing skid are fairly minor.
The week that was
On Friday, the Hitmen lost 3-2 at home to the Brandon Wheat Kings. The Wheaties got out to a 3-0 lead and the Hitmen couldn’t claw all the way back. Mark Kastelic and Riley Stotts scored for the Hitmen. Brayden Peters made 16 saves in the loss.
On Sunday, the Hitmen lost 3-2 at home to the Lethbridge Hurricanes.
