Hitmen lose wild contest to Warriors

MOOSE JAW — The Calgary Hitmen lost a wild game, on the road, to the Moose Jaw Warriors on Sunday.

The Hitmen were on the wrong end of a 7-5 contest, which saw the teams combine for seven third-period goals.

Defenceman Jake Bean and left winger Carsen Twarynski each had a goal and assists for the Hitmen in the contest.

Vladislav Yeryomenko, Lucas Cullen and Matteo Gennaro also scored for Calgary, who have lost five straight. Hitmen rookie goaltender Kyle Dumba made 29 saves in the loss.

Centre Noah Gregor led the way for the Warriors with two goals and three assists.
