The Calgary Hitmen’s struggles against the Medicine Hat Tigers continued Wednesday at the Saddledome.
One night after blowing a 4-2 lead and falling 5-4 in a shootout at the Canalta Centre in Medicine Hat, the Hitmen lost 3-2 at home to the Tigers in front of 9,048 fans.
The Hitmen (13-17-3) have lost all four games they’ve played against the Central Division-leading Tigers (27-10-1) this season.
“We’re not playing up to our expectations at this time, but the good thing is in the last 10 games we’re starting to win more games and get points in games and starting to play more consistent,” said Hitmen general manager Mike Moore during a radio interview on Sportsnet 960 The Fan prior to the game.
