Dustin Wolf’s streak is over. After going 17 games without a single regulation loss to start the 2021–22 season, Wolf finally came out on the wrong side through 60 minutes on Tuesday as his Stockton Heat lost 2–1 to the Tucson Roadrunners.
Wolf could get his chance at revenge as soon as Wednesday. It’s unclear who will start in goal for the Heat as they return to action to conclude their back-to-back series in Tucson.
Tuesday’s game saw the Heat outshoot the Roadrunners 31–24. Opposing goaltender Ivan Prosvetov stood tall, making 30 saves en route to his eighth victory in 15 games this season.
