The Bakersfield Condors were back in town for a weekday series against the Heat starting on Monday night. This was the Heat’s second and final Monday game on the season as it was originally meant to be played on Dec. 1. Covid-19 delays pushed this game back and it made sense to host Bakersfield on Monday before they were set to play them again on Wednesday evening. This game was a solid outing for the Heat after a busy weekend of hockey and resulted in a 3-1 win for the home team.
The shutout that wasn’t
Dustin Wolf was a large piece of Monday’s success.
