A year after winning the Jack Adams Award, Bob Hartley was fired from the Calgary Flames on Tuesday for his inability to build on the team’s success.
The good news is, there are jobs available. Hartley can send his resume out to multiple NHL teams.
The bad news? He is not the only coach looking for work.
Bruce Boudreau, Dave Cameron and Mike Yeo have all been fired recently, while past NHL coaches Randy Carlyle, Ron Wilson and Marc Crawford are trying to land a gig too.
“I’m getting some interest out there,” said Crawford, who has spent the past four seasons coaching in Switzerland.
