It’s probably safe to characterize Doug Gilmour as a pretty good hockey player. During his illustrious National Hockey League career, he had 1,400 points, 1,300 penalty minutes, stints as captain in Toronto and Chicago, and a Stanley Cup win with the Calgary Flames in 1989.
