ST. LOUIS — Lindy Ruff got out of bed Sunday night, slid his feet into his slippers, and quietly padded to the bedroom door, and out into the living room.
He picked up the Magic 8 Ball from the coffee table, where it was being used as a paperweight, and wondered if he really wanted to do this, and then thought: “Oh, why not?”
