Everyone has been asking the same question.
Who is going to score goals for the Calgary Hitmen this season?
The answer, apparently ... The Loch Nets Monster.
Defenceman Loch Morrison played the role of the sniper Friday night, scoring the lone goal of the game as the Hitmen snuck past the Kootenay Ice 1-0 at the Dome.
Morrison jumped out of the penalty box, joined a 2-on-1 with Carsen Twarynski, and sniped a wrister over Kootenay starter Wyatt Hoflin’s mitt.
“It was a lucky one,” Morrison said of his fifth career WHL marker and first game-winner.
