Former Calgary Flames forward, Sheldon Kennedy, will be inducted into the Swift Current Broncos Hall Of Fame.
Kennedy had played 3 seasons with the WHL Broncos from 1986-1989, playing 159 games and earning 134 goals during his time with the small town club. In 1988, he was then drafted 80th overall in the 4th round by the Detroit Red Wings. After being bumped up and down from Detroit's AHL team and back from 1989-1994, Kennedy was traded to the Calgary Flames. In the 1994-1995 season, he garnered 7 goals and 8 assists in 30 games.
