Ryan Johansen has come as advertised for the Nashville Predators.
Since arriving in Nashville from the Columbus Blue Jackets in a trade for defenceman Seth Jones, Johansen has been an offensive catalyst for the Predators.
Johansen went into Saturday’s game against the Edmonton Oilers with three goals and nine points in seven games with the Predators.
“He got our attention pretty quick when he scored a power-play goal one minute into his first game here,” said Predators head coach Peter Laviolette. “It was a terrific goal and he’s made lots of plays like that. He’s a big guy that fills the middle of the ice.
