The Michael Frolik era is over.
The Calgary Flames have traded the forward to the Buffalo Sabres in exchange for a fourth-round pick belonging to the San Jose Sharks.
Frolik, who joined the Flames in 2015 via free agency, was in the final year of a five-year deal paying him $4.3-million per season.
After Reilly and Scandella trades, #GoHabsGo have $2.4M in projected cap space with 23 on active roster (+ 5 on IR).
They could add $4.75M in annual cap hit today or $10.9M at the trade deadline. https://t.co/cJNCkInwS5 pic.
