Flames Sign Two Players

The Calgary Flames re-upped two players this afternoon, the team announced. Both Glenn Gawdin and Justin Kirkland were signed to one year, two-way deals, keeping them with the franchise for 2021-22.

Gawdin saw some ice time with the Flames last year, skating in seven games and dishing out an assist for his first NHL point. The rest of his 2021 season was spent with the Stockton Heat where he suited up for 22 games and had 13 points.

Kirkland meanwhile has been strictly playing minor league hockey, playing in 16 games with the Stockton Heat in 2021, scoring two goals and handing out five assists.
