The Calgary Flames have made another addition to the club, this time adding right winger Josh Leivo to the team on a one-year 875k deal. Leivo joins the team coming off a career-best but injury shortened season with the Vancouver Canucks. Leivo had seven goals and 19 points with the Canucks through 36 games this past season, but a fractured kneecap before Christmas ended his season.
A former third round pick of the Maple Leafs in 2011, Leivo spent five years developing before moving into the Leafs lineup where he struggled to maintain regular ice time.
