The Calgary Flames have made their third and final selection of the 2022 NHL Draft. In the seventh round, at 219th overall, they’ve selected big centre Cade Littler.
One of the youngest players in the draft class as a July 2004 birthday. He’s listed at 6’3″ and 201 pounds, and he’s a right shot centre.
A product of East Wenatchee, Washington, he played his 2021-22 season with the BCHL’s Wenatchee Wild. He had 20 goals and 45 points for the Wild and was named to the league’s All-Rookie Team.
He’s committed to the University of Minnesota-Mankato for 2023-24, and he’ll return to the BCHL for next season.
